Explore our range of bespoke semi-permanent makeup treatments, each designed to enhance your natural features with soft, lasting results.
Microblading is a manual technique that uses ultra-fine strokes to mimic natural eyebrow hairs. Ideal for clients with sparse or uneven brows, this treatment delivers a soft, natural finish that subtly enhances your shape without looking drawn on.
Combination Brows blend the hair-like strokes of microblading with soft shading to add depth and fullness. This hybrid technique is perfect for those wanting a slightly more defined look while still keeping a natural feel.
Powder Brows use a digital machine to create a soft, pixelated shading effect — similar to a softly filled-in makeup look. Ideal for all skin types, this technique offers a fuller, more polished finish with long-lasting results.
Lip Blush enhances the natural colour and shape of your lips using gentle pigmentation. It adds subtle definition, corrects asymmetry, and creates the appearance of fuller, healthier lips — all while keeping things soft and natural.
A gentle, non-laser method for removing or lightening unwanted semi-permanent makeup. Salt & saline removal is safe, effective, and works gradually to fade pigment without damaging the skin.
Every treatment at Fayebrows is thoughtfully designed to suit your unique features, skin type, and personal style. From soft, natural enhancements to more defined results, Faye’s work focuses on timeless beauty and lasting confidence.
Everything You Need to Know
Semi-permanent makeup, also known as micropigmentation, is a cosmetic technique that employs tattooing to create makeup-like designs on the skin. This process involves inserting natural pigments into the dermal layer of the skin. It's commonly used for eyebrows, eyeliner, and lip colour enhancements. The results can last anywhere from 1 to 3 years, depending on factors like skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare.
The duration of each semi-permanent makeup procedure can vary. Typically, the initial session lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This includes consultation, colour selection, and the application process. Touch-up sessions, which are usually done a few weeks after the initial application, may take less time. We recommend allocating sufficient time for your appointment to ensure the best possible results.
The level of discomfort experienced during semi-permanent makeup procedures varies from person to person. Most clients report minimal discomfort. We apply a topical anaesthetic before the procedure to numb the area, which helps in reducing pain. It's important to communicate with your technician throughout the procedure to ensure your comfort.
Semi-permanent makeup typically lasts between 1 to 3 years. The longevity depends on several factors, including skin type, exposure to sun, and skincare routines. Regular touch-ups are recommended to maintain the colour and shape. Over time, the pigment will fade, necessitating a refresh session.
Congratulations on your new brows! To ensure they heal beautifully and maintain their pigment, it's essential to care for them properly post-treatment.
Immediate Aftercare:
Sensitivity: Your brows have undergone a procedure, so they'll be sensitive. Protect them from excessive UV rays and sun exposure, including sunbeds. If you must be in the sun, apply total sunblock or a high SPF moisturiser on the brows.
Symptoms: For the first 2-5 days, you might experience: Swelling, Tenderness, Redness, Scabbing, Flaking, Dryness & Itching
Daily Care for the First Week:
Day 1: Gently press a clean tissue over your brows to absorb any lymph fluid. Only apply the aftercare balm during this period to keep them hydrated.
Days 2-7: Cleanse them twice daily using a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil. Pat dry with tissue or a soft towel (avoid rubbing). Apply the brow aftercare balm for hydration and protection.
Ointment: Use the treatment ointment provided 3 times daily with a clean, dry cotton bud. This ointment shields against infections and environmental factors. Always wash your hands before and after application.
What to Avoid:
Makeup: Refrain from applying makeup on or around the brows for the first week.
Touching: Avoid scratching, picking, itching, or rubbing the brows. This can lead to uneven healing, infections, scarring, and pigment loss.
Heat/Cold Exposure: For 30 days post-treatment, avoid saunas, sunbathing, and tanning beds.
Important Notes:
Post-procedure, your brows will appear up to 50% darker. This will lighten after 4-7 days, but the true colour won't be fully evident until 4 weeks post-treatment.
Do not undergo any other permanent or semi-permanent cosmetic procedures within 4 weeks of your treatment.
Your brows are an investment, and with proper care, they'll remain beautiful and vibrant. If you have any concerns or questions, don't hesitate to reach out.
